The Franklin County Board of Developmental Disabilities (FCBDD) is proud of its many partnerships with other providers in Franklin County. Some have contracts with the Board, while others contract with the state for certain services for individuals living in Franklin County.

The following listing provides details on some of the Board’s partners. For a complete listing of providers contracting with the state, go to the Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities web site at www.odmrdd.state.oh.us.

Action for Children
Board has agreement to participate in child care program for FCB/DD staff.

A.D.D. (Association for the Developmentally Disabled)
Board provides funding for the A.D.D. preschool and toddlers program (Dahlberg).
Board continued funding support for A.D.D.’s Community Connections program.

Catholic Social Services
Board provides funding for senior companions to each adult program facility.

Childhood League
Board provides funding support for preschool and toddler programs operated by Childhood League.

Children’s Center for Developmental Enrichment (Oakstone Academy)
Board provides funding for a school and preschool programs for children with Autism Spectrum disorder.

Children's Hospital
Board provides funding support for early intervention programs for children who are inpatients at Children's Hospital.

Christ Lutheran Children's Center, and Cherry Creek YMCA
Board coordinates with other community organizations to provide early childhood programs.

Columbus International Program
Board supports two international internships.

Columbus Public Schools
Board coordinates with Columbus Public Schools to provide preschool programs.
Board provides funding support for summer career camp.

Columbus Speech and Hearing Center
Board provides funding support to provide preschool services for children who require an intensive speech and language program.

Creative Housing, Inc.
Board contracts with Creative Housing, Inc. to purchase, develop and manage housing for individuals with mental retardation and developmental disabilities.

Early Childhood Resource Network / YMCA
Board provides funds for early intervention services.

Easter Seals Rehabilitation Center
Board provides funding support for early intervention services provided at the Easter Seals Rehabilitation Center.

Eastland Vocational School District
Board provides funding support for a summer career camp.

Epilepsy Foundation
Board provides funding support to provide counseling and support services for individuals who have developmental disabilities as a result of their epilepsy.

Franklin County Board of Alcohol, Drug Abuse, and Mental Health Services (ADAMH)
Board collaborates with ADAMH to serve dually diagnosed individuals through community treatment team and jointly funded an out-patient dual diagnosis clinic at the O.S.U. Nisonger Center.

Franklin County Children's Cabinet
Board participates with other Franklin County child serving agencies in the Children’s Cabinet and the Family and Children’s First Council for Franklin County.

Franklin County Children's Services
Board has agreement with FCCS to serve children who are eligible for services from both systems.

Franklin County Council for Retarded Citizens
Board provides funding support for the Council's Citizens Advocacy, Parent-to-Parent programs and Latchkey services.

Franklin County Kids In Different Systems
Board cooperates with other community agencies to support services for multi-need children through KIDS (Kids in Different Systems).

Franklin County Department of Job and Family Services
Board provides funds to assist in determining initial financial/waiver eligibility.

Franklin County School Districts
Board collaborates with all school districts in Franklin County by providing services for children with multiple disabilities.

Goodwill Columbus
Board contracts with Goodwill to serve senior citizens with developmental disabilities in sage senior services.
Board contracts with Goodwill to provide work and behavioral services.
Board contracts with Goodwill to provide young adult services.

Head Start
Board collaborates with Head Start to serve young children.

Heinzerling
Board provides staff to serve children and adults who live at Heinzerling and who are unable to attend schools or adult programs due to their medical condition.

Heritage Day Health Centers
Board provides funding support for day care services for adults with mental retardation and developmental disabilities.

Jewish Community Center
Board supports summer camp program for children and teens with mental retardation and developmental disabilities.

Material Assistance Providers (MAP)
Board contracts with MAP for eligible adults to obtain furniture and household items from the furniture bank.

Nisonger Center, The Ohio State University
Board contracts with Nisonger to provide early intervention and preschool classes, to provide dental services, to provide behavior support services and to provide psychiatric services for individuals who have mental illness and mental retardation.

O.S.U. Child Care Center
Board supports an infant and toddler program for children with developmental disabilities.

O.S.U. Special Education
Board provides funding support to provide specialized behavior analysis services.

Supported Living Providers
Board contracts with over 100 supported living providers, offering support for individuals with mental retardation and developmental disabilities in their living situations.

United Cerebral Palsy of Central Ohio
Board provides funding support to provide non-vocational day services for individuals with developmental disabilities at the Grace Kindig Adult Center.
