Description

Provides training and instruction to employees in a vocational/habilitation setting to enhance marketable occupational skills; directs a group of employees in training activities, overseeing quality and quantity of work and employee activity and behavior; follows established habilitation plans and provides training during periods of work reduction Assists with the tasks in janitorial, food service and laundry Assists employees with personal care needs such as, but not limited to, restroom assistance, eating assistance, etc. Attends and participates in interdisciplinary team meetings; assists in the development of individual plans and in the establishment of training objectives; prepares and implements training plans; provides accurate documentation Maintains environment free of health and safety hazards; obtains necessary materials and supplies for training; submits written requests as needed Provides assistance with the embarkment and disembarkment of employees Maintains records and prepares reports as required; attends and participates in staff meetings; reads professional literature and attends seminars, academic classes or workshops to enhance professional knowledge; maintains proper registration certification Provides transportation for employees May perform delegated nursing tasks and/or procedures Performs other related duties as assigned

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma or equivalent; one year experience in related field is preferred; must be able to lift, bend, push and pull up to 25 pounds LICENSE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED: Adult Services Registration - Ohio Department of MR/DD; valid Ohio Driver's License - Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles
